The application process requires the following steps

REGISTRATION: 150,00 € per person
EARLY BIRD*: 130,00 € per person

*Before July 15^st, registration form and a first confirmation payment received

• Download the registration form and complete it
• Send it back to our email address: info@iusf.net
• You will receive an email confirming the acceptance of your application and the pro-forma receipt
• Pay 100 € per person by 15^st July, to confirm your registration
• Pay the 50% of the accomodation when you reserve it
• Pay the balance of accomodation by 25^th September
• Pay the balance of the Registration Fee by 5^th October

World InterUniversities Sport Federation SSD a RL will not guarantee team registrations if they don’t complete the payment before
the established date.

Cancellation Policy:

• 100% refund: before July 15^st
• 50% refund: before September 14^th
• NO REFUND: after September 14^th

Application deadline: October 5^th 2026 (or in the case we will reach the maximum number of teams in each sport)

• Championships registration fee (fields, referee, officials, balls provided)
• Grand Opening Ceremony

• Contribution: total amount 12.000 euro (for the WIUC 2026 Universities Champion, to be used as discount for the Inscription to the 12^th WIUC 2027)
• Official Bag, T-Shirt and Water Sport Bottle of 11^th WIUC
• Gadgets (full package only for the Early Bird Subscription)
• Sandwiches on Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• Hot and Cold Drinks, snacks and fruits during the Championships (only at the main sport center)
• Ambulance/Doctor Service

Transportation from the Airport to the Hotel and Hostels (available upon request)

AWARDING

Championships Level (more that 8 teams)

• 1^st place:
  • TROPHY + MEDALS FOR ALL PLAYERS + CONTRIBUTION of 500 euro to be used for the registration to the 12^th World InterUniversities Championships (for all sports except tennis, tennis table, padel, and badminton)
    
  • TROPHY + MEDALS FOR ALL PLAYERS + CONTRIBUTION of 300 euro to be used for the registration to the 12^th World InterUniversities Championships (tennis, tennis table,  padel, and badminton)

Tournaments Level and promotional sport (less that 8 teams)

• 1^st place:
  • TROPHY + MEDALS FOR ALL PLAYERS

FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS, TOURNAMENTS Level and PROMOTIONAL SPORT

• 2^nd – 3^rd place: CUP + MEDALS for all players
• 4^th place: CUP

Best player

• (football, futsal, basketball, volleyball, handball, rugby 7’s): TROPHY

Best Universities (in the OVERALL FINAL RANKING, which is the sum of all sports results)

• 4.000 euro for the Best Universities (to be used for the registration to the 12^th World InterUniversities Championships):
  • Best University in the Championships: 1.500 euro
  • 2^nd University: 1.000 euro
  • 3^rd University: 700 euro
  • 4^th University: 500 euro
  • 5^th University: 300 euro

CHAMPIONSHIPS LEVEL

• Football 11 (men) – max 18 players per team
• Futsal 5 (men and women) – max 12 players per team
• Basketball (men and women)- max 14 players per team
• Volleyball (men and women) – max 14 players per team
• Rugby 7’s (men and women) – max 15 players per team
• Handball (men and women) – max 14 players per team
• Tennis (men and women) – max 3 men and max 3 women players per University
• Tennis table (men and women) – no limits in number of players
• Badminton (men and women) – no limits in number of players
• Swimming (men and women) – no limits in number of players – Check the “Provisional Race Schedules” section
• Athletics (men and women) – no limits in numbers of players – Check the “Provisional Race Schedules” section
• Padel (men and women) – max 6 men and max 6 women players per University
• Cheerleading dance contest

Airport

Bratislava has an airport inside the city, but for many international and intercontinental flights we suggest Vienna airport, which is just 40 minutes from Bratislava.

Tuesday 3^rd and Wednesday 4^th November:

ACCREDITATION PROCEDURE

The entire delegation is accredited by designated team leader or by a small delegation per University, that can come to pick up accreditation cards and Welcome packages.

The person going to the accreditation must carry it out (and collect the material) for his/her entire delegation. Remember to make the Accreditation before your first match! Teams that have not completed the accreditation procedure will not be able to play.

• November 3^rd and 4^th – All day long: Arrival of participants in Bratislava & Check-In in chosen Hostel or Hotel.
• November 3^rd and 4^th: Accreditation
• November 4^th from 12.00pm: STARTING OF MATCHES FOR FUTSAL, BASKETBALL, VOLLEYBALL, HANDBALL AND TENNIS

Thursday 5^th November

• From 9.00am till End of the Day: Matches – Groups stage.
• Evening time: Opening Ceremony – Mandatory presence

Friday 6^th November

• From 9.00am till End of the Day: Matches – Groups & Knock-Outs.
• From 6.00pm to 7.00pm: General Assembly (Head of Delegation only)

Saturday 7^th November

• From 9.00am 5.00pm: Knock-Outs & Finals
• From 5.00pm: Cheerleading Contest
• From 6.30pm to 8.00pm: Awarding Ceremony

• All day: Departure of all participants
